RITA launches strategy to provide birth certificates to Pupils of primary schools in Kinondoni municipality.

The Implementation of this strategy is collaborating with  Kinondoni Municipal and Pupils will be able to register and obtain birth certificates in their schools.

Each school will have one teacher who organize the registration and the parents of the students will be provided the application forms to register their children, filling and sending them back to the teacher with required attachments.

 

A total of 140 government primary schools with 155,944 pupils in  Kinondoni Municipal are participating in this strategy while the objectives of the RITA is to register and give birth certificates to 40,000 pupils.

 

Such a strategy has already implemented in Ilala district in Dar es Salaam in collaboration with the Municipal education department  where about 105 primary schools  were involved  and so far more than 16,000 students have registered and received birth certificates.

 

RITA already begun preparations for the implementation of this strategy in Temeke district and then continue implementation in all districts Tanzania mainland.
